Three products built as one system for coarse, curly and coily hair — RAIN cleans without stripping, DRIP puts the moisture back, MIST holds it there — formulated with cosmetic chemists and tested before a single claim was printed.
Textured hair has a climate problem
Dry indoor air, hard water, and products formulated for hair that isn’t yours. Most leave-ins feel good for ten minutes and then dry stiff or greasy; most shampoos use sulfates that foam like crazy and strip natural oils along with the buildup. The instructions on the bottle never matched the reality of the coils in my own family.
As someone living with albinism and vision impairment, I know what it means to be an afterthought in a product category. So the brief was: build it the way it should have been built from the start — panel first, fragrance last, evidence over embellishment.
One formula. Every texture.
RAIN · shampoo
Sulfate-free, built on coconut-derived sodium cocoyl isethionate. Low lather on purpose, and it still works in hard water — where most shampoos quietly fail.
DRIP · leave-in
Water first, then glycerin to pull moisture in and hold it; lightweight emollients for real absorption; lipid-barrier support to seal it. No greasy residue, no overnight cap.
MIST · refresh
More than water and fragrance: a refresh spray designed to hold hydration through the week without buildup.
Built for 3A–4C
Coils, curls, coarse, braids and locs — and beards. Textured hair care isn’t gendered.
Tested, then claimed
DRIP: vegan, non-irritant classification, dermatologist tested, stability tested at 40°C accelerated aging, pH balanced for textured hair.
A brand with a sound
Product films, a founder-made theme song and an after-dark radio playlist — the brand is built to be watched and heard, not just read.
Formulation, compliance, and a store that could ship
Each product was developed with cosmetic chemists through extensive testing; every claim on the site maps to a verifiable mechanism or a completed formulation test. The pre-launch work most consumers never see — product-liability insurance, stability testing, labelling — was done before samples shipped.
The storefront, journal (“The Hub”), preorder flow and newsletter were built in-house, and the brand carries the 15 Percent Pledge, Disability-Owned and MSB certifications.
Chapter One is open
DRIP is on preorder with early-access windows live; RAIN and MIST follow as the line rolls out. Next: first fulfilment, retail conversations, and the ingredient deep-dives that make the science legible to customers.
Strength for every strand isn’t a slogan. It’s the brief.
